Day 10

The weekend was a great one filled with fun, Family, food, relaxation and did I say fun

While being away my biggest take away was not being in the city that literally never sleeps as I was able to exhale and relax my mind as well as my body

Living in New York City I am forced to move at the speed of the city which is close to impossible as I am only human, what happens then is that I spend so much time in speed mode that after a while my entire being speaks and it needs to be in a state of rest

When that opportunity comes knocking and an answer is required, the best thing to do is to respond affirmatively and obey and am I ever so thankful because also in the mix of all that I was able to hone in and intentionally set time aside with God so we could talk without distraction, yes I exhaled

I must admit that being able to do this, to take this time makes me want more time with Him it makes me desire more of Him and to be honest this is what He wants from us, from me daily

I have enjoyed it so much that I quietly decided to be more intentional about meeting with Him, taking time to commune with Him about whatever the topic He wants to talk back to me.

I love how engaging and refreshing our time has been and as the journey continues I give thanks that He is not done with me yet and as such my moments with Him become even more memorable, more meaningful, more inspiring
