Subjection
While getting ready to unwind for the night I heard Holy Spirit say the word subjection. As I prepared my tea waiting to hear where He was going with this I heard it again
Ok Lord I’m listening, you see as followers of Christ we are told that we must be able to put the devil under subjection every time he shows up and rightfully so and boy do we try, and I say try because how are we really going to put him under our feet when we can’t even put our flesh and sinful actions under subjection
How are we going to defeat and overcome the devil if every chance we get we surrender to the ways of the world?
I know for some this may seem harsh and judgmental but I promise you that’s not what’s happening here, but instead I’m addressing a real-life situation that has taken control of us for far too long.
We stand in the midst of the grey swaying from side to side convincing ourselves that God understands and He made us flesh so He expects us to sin hmmm does He
To be honest by now those excuses should have gone out the window, out the door and be outside of us where it belongs but instead we caress the reasons and hold on to them as if they are what will save us
Putting our actions that are not pleasing to God under subjection is one step towards us being able to fight the devil and win, it is one step towards us finally acknowledging that we too are the problem and that needs to get resolved, it is one step closer to us learning how to fight and overcome the devil
How do you do this you might ask? Well let us begin by admitting that we need help.
Let us begin by surrendering you to God.
Let us begin by making ourselves available to Him, it is only then can the real work begin.
It is at this point that we need to acknowledge this truth it is not always the devil, sometimes it is me. So let the subjection begin with you and me
I am Peace Reigns

The topic of SUBJECTION is one that we ought to give much consideration. Surely, EXCUSES are out dated and we should strive to live VICTORIOUS. We should work to get wiser than the devil. He is able to deceive us when we are ignorant of what God says.
Keep speaking truth; its what we need in these day to achieve our spiritual goals.
