The Lessons
Have you ever noticed that when you pray about certain things that the Lord really turns up the heat by testing you even more in that thing? For example, you pray asking for patience and it seems like more trials come your way. You know what I’m talking about right?
Well this is what I am learning about our Holy Father, in an attempt to truly get us to a place where we understand what patience is and how to implement it we must go through certain situations that force us to exercise the patience we seek.
One thing about us is that we like things a certain way, mainly easy so if we don’t have to endure certain situations then we would prefer that but because God is wise and always knows best it works so much better when we learn and grow through.
So as we go through this day praying for God to help us, mold us, shape us let us also pray that He will equip us to deal with the lessons that come along with the pruning, after all this is what we need in order for us to become who He needs us to be for the sake of His Kingdom.
