Every person that’s in our lives serve a purpose, some teach us lessons  that last a lifetime while there are others who last only for a season but still exist to teach us certain things.

I have a friend who always says “watch my life” that’s his motto for how he lives. At first i didn’t quite understand why he said it so much until i decided to look at his life.

Now this person like all of us has had ups, downs, mishaps, detours and a few setbacks but even through all that he professes boldly and loudly his constant dedication and commitment to God.

Not once have I heard him say why me or i’m done trusting God but instead He says “Lord teach me”. That for me is even more proof that going through the worst of times doesn’t mean it’s a free pass to not trust God or even lash out at Him , instead it’s actually another opportunity for one to draw even closer to God so that we can quickly learn the lessons and move on to the next  stage of the journey.

Many of us who call ourselves Christians still haven’t gotten to that point of faith living which leaves me to ask the question why? Why do we question God when things don’t quite go the way we plan? Hmmmm, did you catch that? The way we plan….that’s why because truth be told had we done it the way God plans most of what we go through would not take place but, just like children we have to get burned a few times to truly believe the fire is hot.

Unlike children though we don’t practice unconditional faith, instead we walk in doubt and live in fear. It’s truly time to change that, flip it and turn it into next level brand new.

It’s time to not only speak the words but be the words so when others look at you and they will, they will be inspired by the stance you have taken and in turn they too will will practice the God breathed kind of life.
