Your Tribe
Your Tribe, your people, your circle truly need to be a select people who push you, motivate you and inspire you to be at all times the best version of yourself.
This weekend I took a step back to truly evaluate my friend circle, I had to see if we were doing right by each other in pushing us past those things that stop us from excelling in life. It dawned on me that in most cases I am that friend who always calls, messages, inspires and motivates everyone while only a few in my circle do the same for me.
Were these friendships beneficial, why did I choose these particular people and what does it say about me? These are questions I got stuck with asking myself.
I then decided to ask others how they feel about their circle and how they chose their friends to see if I was the only one in the processing of evaluating and seeking.
One friend expressed that she had to do some weed cutting recently because she realized that who she served did not serve her, another told me of a quote that said stop texting first and you see how many dead plants you have been watering and from that she began to evaluate those in her circle. Amazed I was at the fact that so many people were having these same concerns as I was.
I then decided to dig even deeper by searching the Bible. Jesus had a select few who He taught and though Judas betrayed Him, this was the role he was to play so we could be here today. Elijah had Elisha, David had Jonathan. These friendships were solid and beneficial and as such you could clearly see growth in them. This is why it is so important to pay attention to who is in my circle because of my growth and teaching mindset. The days of sitting around having mindless conversations are over, one has to be poised for success and since we can’t get to that place on our own we need to ensure that we are choosing not weeds but instead flowers in our Garden Of Life.
So in choosing, choose according to your dream and excel mindset

Good morning. Thank you for the gems you just dropped. What if we are choosing who we are around but at the same time still feel out of place. Is that normal.
My sis that does happen which is where prayer is needed to make sure we are making the right connections
