Broken into Peace
Broken into peace
What a title to call this piece. As I reflect on what the above words mean I am reminded of stories in which people get broken, get distressed, get depressed, get hurt but in the midst of that chaos they get brought back into that undeniable feeling I would like to call unquestionable Peace that comes from knowing and living for God.
So many times we encounter situations that’s less than favorable, situations that leave us feeling lost, confused and out of sorts, situations that cause us to ask some questions regarding where God is and why us. Usually these situations take place after a bout of goodness and so when we get hit with the not so good it comes as a surprise.
These I call the heart stopping, blood flowing, breathtaking moments that leave us crying ourselves to sleep with no appetite, hence weight loss and a look that tells others that we just aren’t ok. In those times we can’t help but to lash out in anger as we blame everything in God. After All it’s better than taking responsibility right.
What we don’t realize in the moment is that all those feelings of brokenness, all those broken pieces God is using to rebuild us, making us stronger than we were. All those moments God is using to make us, mold us, shape us into who He needs us to be without apology.
Those broken lessons are usually the best as we are then able to determine the difference when that God breathed Spiritual peace comes. Here’s the thing about that peace you may not want to hear though. We all yes I said all have to go through and experience some things in order to recognize, acknowledge and accept when Daddy’s peace comes.
