Where Is Your Heart?
Let’s be clear, living life on the surface and wanting to be in the in crowd won’t cut it. There is no bargaining with God as to be Holy means just that, fervently letting go of the things of the world and holding onto the spiritual things that plainly says we have chosen God.
Now don’t get me wrong I’m in no way passing judgements or being critical of people’s lifestyle however I have and continue to learn that God can’t be a part time thing we do when we have a minute here or a minute there, no, serving Him has to be full time with fulltime commitment.
Yes, things in this world are very enticing as they should be because that’s what’s designed to take our attention and focus off God and this is why the road of sin is so extremely wide while the road of salvation is so rarely travelled as it is narrow and at times lonely.
The aim is never to please him, her or those in between, the aim is to be so relentless in our pursuit of God that when others see us they want what we have because that salvation light shines so BRIGHT from within.
When we draw close to God our eyes get opened to things that are normally hidden, things that we would otherwise not even acknowldge but once God gets in the mix boy oh boy clarity of focus becomes the way of life.
Yes there will be battles, yes there will be struggles, yes there will be heartbreaks as we will have to let some things and people go but in doing all that and choosing God we are guaranteed some things the world will never give like peace, deep joy, blessings, salvation, pure and unfiltered relationship with Him.
Here’s the catch though you will have to give some things up full time and for real.

I think it is very important for us to understand the difference with saying we know and us being intimate with God.
Just like any serious relationship we should be willing to pay the price for serious fellowship.
