It’s one thing when you hear of things happening around you, it’s sad yes but not as heart wrenching as when it happens to people connected to you

Hearing the news of friends getting I’ll, of loved ones losing their loved ones makes my heart sad but what’s even more devastating is knowing that during the worst time you can’t be there with them as they transition from this life

Today my mind is on those who have lost someone, today my mind is on the Doctors, Nurses, hospital staff who now stand as replacements for family members, today my mind, my thoughts, my prayers go out to those on the frontline who aren’t able to grieve losses because they are called on to be strong

Today my prayers to God is about them, the lost lives and the feeling of hopelessness that many feel. Today I pray for their peace as only God can give, today I pray for healing, for comfort, for His love to surround and strengthen  those who need it the most. Today I place my trust in Him believing that not only will this pass, but that as He is revered, honored and praised He will stand for us.
